The Metro is reporting that flocks of lambs shorn to look like poodles were shipped to Japan as "the latest must have accessory". Apparently the scam was only discovered when a Japanese actress debuted her new "poodle" on a television show, and someone told her the mistake. Then authorities received calls from as many as 2000 who had also been conned.
2000 people? Who had no idea that they had a lamb, not a dog in their home? Apparently poodles are really rare in Japan, but still.
